Myoken Onsen Ryokan

天降川沿いの４部屋を２部屋に拡張する計画。
「何もしない」を徹底してデザインしました。

Based on the principle of “nothing is done”, the renovation project of this ryokan in Myoken Onsen, in Kagoshima prefecture, consisted of turning four rooms overlooking the Amori River into two wider rooms. By respecting the atmosphere and traditional aspects of the architecture, it really looks like no structural or architectural interventions have been made.
