Kyodo House

一日中、太陽のふりそそぐ住宅。
東西南北に風が通り抜ける間仕切りのない空間を計画しました。
家具は全て千葉房総の森から選んだ杉材で制作。

This house “in the sun” has been designed without partitions to allow the sunlight to enter the indoor space all day and the wind to flow from east to west, and from north to south. All the furniture is made of cedar wood selected from the forests of Boso, Chiba. The result is a bright liveable environment that benefits from elements that are both natural and sustainable.
